ENDOSCOPE REPROCESSING: A RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED TRIAL

Silvertech Unveils Next-Generation Endoscope Cleaning Solution ‘EZ JET,’ Drawing Attention from the Medical Industry
Medical device specialist Silvertech Co., Ltd has unveiled its next-generation endoscope cleaning solution, the EZ JET Ball Brusher System, attracting significant attention from the medical community.
Founded in 2002 with its roots in the silver foam business, Silvertech transitioned into a corporation in 2003 and subsequently expanded its operations into surface plating and medical consumables. In particular, the company has accelerated its global market expansion by independently developing and patenting an endoscope channel-cleaning ball brusher that dramatically improves cleaning efficiency for medical devices.
The newly introduced EZ JET system is designed to significantly reduce the complexity and workload associated with conventional endoscope cleaning methods. Using a suction-based mechanism with a ball brusher, the system can complete endoscope channel cleaning in under 15 seconds, while the entire reprocessing cycle can be completed within approximately 20 minutes. In addition, the technology delivers notable environmental benefits by reducing medical waste to approximately one three-hundredth (1/300) of that generated by traditional brush-based cleaning methods.
The product has secured patents in eight countries and has obtained ISO 13485 certification, the international standard for medical device quality management systems. Furthermore, CE DOC certification for entry into the European market is expected to be completed in the near future.
A Silvertech representative stated, “EZ JET is a solution that significantly reduces the physical burden on nursing staff while dramatically improving the efficiency of infection control. Our goal is to allow medical professionals to focus more on what truly matters—patient care.”
Beyond endoscope cleaning solutions, Silvertech also provides partnership-based, customized solutions across various fields, including medical safety, security, and automation systems. Through continuous research and development, the company aims to contribute to the advancement of the global healthcare environment.
